Reagan Casteel is a composer, music director, pianist, and vocal coach originally from Nashville, TN. She holds a BM in Music Composition from Eastman School of Music, where she fell in love with story-telling through song and discovered her passion for collaboration. While at Eastman she studied piano with Elinor Freer and composition with Carlos Sanchez-Gutierrez, Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, and David Liptak.

 

Reagan is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Vocal Coaching at Oklahoma City University, where she studies with Jan McDaniel and works as a collaborative pianist. Reagan has served as Assistant Coach on OCU mainstage productions of The Consul, Spring Awakening, The Threepenny Opera, and Mark Adamo’s Little Women. In 2021, she spent her summer as Assistant Music Director with Painted Sky Opera (As One), and Parallel45 (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Sound of Music).

 

She is also passionate about musical theatre, and has music directed at the University of Rochester, the University of Central Oklahoma, and Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma (Spring 2022). You can find out more at reagancasteel.com.
